SiteWorks Locating Inc. settles for nothing but the best when it comes to utility locating training. We realize the high-voltage lines we are locating are extremely dangerous, and we train our employees accordingly.
Our SiteWorks DPT’s receive damage prevention training by taking the DPT100 course supplied by the ORCGA. Additionally, we require our DPT's to have several months in-field training before they are allowed to conduct any physical locates for our clients on their own. During in-class and field exercises, our DPT’s are trained in conformance with best industry practices as set by the law. Furthermore, all SiteWorks DPT’s receive formal training in First Aid, CPR, Site Safety, Electrical Hazards, Traffic Protection, and general health and safety compliance. All SiteWorks employees must adhere to the strict procedures as dictated by our in-depth health and safety program.
Furthermore, our DPT’s regularly receive utility locating training classes from any available outside sources. Generally, these training sessions take place at least once a year, and provide our DPT’s with the most current locating methods using only the latest locating equipment on the market. We provide this extra training to ensure our DPT’s are always “re-freshed” on proper locating procedures, and to prevent complacency from ever occurring.
